Healthy Hancock was formed in 2001 as a federation of community health coalitions, schools, hospitals and other organizations working together to promote health in the Hancock County region. This federation has evolved with changes in state support for the Healthy Maine Partnerships and Healthy Communities Coalitions. Currently active organizations can be identified on our "Contacts" page. A two-year study starting in 2004 to identify factors that contribute to successful community collaborations. (Note: This document is historical and does not reflect the currect structure of Hancock County Health Coalitions)
