Reports from the Fire Department indicated significant annual fluctuation related to weather. Ice Storm ‘98 dramatically increased power line and hazardous conditions.

Aside from these two categories, other incidents have remained stable over this four year period.

One third of dwelling fires are in multifamily units that constitute one fourth of all housing units.
