Healthy Acadia Announces MiniGrant Program
Application deadline - December 31, 2004

Healthy Acadia is pleased to announce that Good Health Starts Here Mini-Grants are now available for groups working to create lasting community changes to promote health in the greater-Mount Desert Island region. This year, funding is available in five categories: Healthy Food Supply; Active Communities; Clean Environment; Freedom from Addiction; and Positive Child & Youth Development. Mini-grants of up to $1000 will be awarded.

Applications must be submitted to Healthy Acadia by December 31, 2004. If you would prefer to receive paper copies of these forms, or a version that you can print out and hand-write, please contact Healthy Acadia and we will be happy to mail them to you. All applicants are encouraged to contact Healthy Acadia to discuss proposal ideas. We are happy to talk with you by phone or in person.
