Attention youth groups and programs! Get a $60.00 discount off your registration fee for the annual Peer Leadership Conference.

Youth Coordinator Emilia Bachrach from Coastal Hancock Healthy Communities is pleased to announce a one-time only special incentive for four members of a local Youth Group/Program and one adult advisor to receive $60.00 off the 21st annual Peer Leadership Conference registration fee.
The registration fee for commuters (no lodging) is $45 per day. This means that the four youth and one adult advisor, who attend the conference with the $60.00 discount, will be able to attend one full day of the conference for free!
Brought to you by the Maine Youth Action Network, this Peer Leadership Conference has insightful workshops to offer which focus on tobacco issues, physical activity, nutrition and group development. Coastal Hancock Healthy Communities urges key youth leaders and their advisors to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity.
The conference is attended by 7 to 12th grade youth and advisors from school and community youth peer programs throughout the state of Maine.
The 21st annual Peer Leadership Conference features five workshop sessions in three focus areas. Over 50 different workshops will be offered, led by youth and adults. Each track will include workshops on a variety of topics, including Peer Program Skills, Teen Health Issues, Physical Activity, Nutrition and Anti-Tobacco Topics.
The last day to register is Thursday, October 8th. The conference will be held on Thursday and Friday, November 4th and 5th at the Atlantic Oakes by the Sea in Bar Harbor. Contact Emilia Bachrach at 667-5352 for more info.
